Does AI recommend your business to buyers?
An AI Visibility Audit puts 25 buyer questions — agreed with you in advance — to seven AI answer surfaces, twice each, on one stated day. It reports who was named, in what order, what reason each system gave, and where you sit, including if you are nowhere. 350 readings, one report, £595 plus VAT.
Seven surfaces, reported separately
- Google AI Overview
- Google AI Mode
- ChatGPT
- Microsoft Copilot
- Claude
- Perplexity
- Gemini
Google organic search is captured alongside them as a control. It is not one of the seven, because it does not give an answer — it gives a list. Keeping it separate is what makes the comparison meaningful.
Three of those seven are routinely left out by providers selling this reading. Copilot is the one most often missing. Google’s AI Overview and AI Mode are frequently merged into a single “Google” figure, and Gemini is treated as though it were the same thing as Google’s AI answers, which it is not. Each is reported separately here, with its own result, because a combined AI score conceals exactly the differences a business needs to see.
25 questions, agreed with you before we start
You see and approve every question before the capture runs. A reading taken against questions nobody asks measures nothing, and you are the person who knows what your buyers ask.
25 questions × 7 surfaces × 2 runs = 350 readings, all on one stated day, all under the capture conditions in the published standard.
Two runs, because one proves nothing
Answers move between consecutive runs on the same day. Every provider in this market knows it, and most of them still sell a single-run snapshot with screenshots.
Each question is run twice. The report shows the union of both runs and marks which firms appeared in only one. That instability is itself a finding — it means a single citation is noise, and only breadth of corroboration counts.
What the report contains
A share-of-voice cover: how often you were named, across how many of the seven surfaces.
One panel per surface, with its own result rather than a combined score.
Every firm named across all 350 readings, in the order each system gave them, with your business highlighted.
The reason each system gave for naming a firm — the “best suited to” line, which is the most useful thing in the whole exercise and the thing a combined score destroys.
What each system cited as its source, so you can see which pages the answers are actually built from.
The open questions in your market where no supplier is named at all, with an openness score for each.
The capture conditions, stated in full.
Three outcomes, not one
A business can be recommended, merely mentioned, or cited as a source. These are three different results with three different causes, and a single visibility score collapses them into a number that cannot be acted on. The report keeps them apart.
No fix list here either
The same rule applies as to the audit. The report states what the systems said and what they cited. It does not issue a work plan, name a supplier, or take a commission from anyone who does the work.
Results are directional. AI answers vary by location, account, prompt, browsing mode and time. No assessment guarantees placement, and any provider that offers one is selling something they cannot deliver.
