Holding the accreditation

What it costs to hold and keep current a Digital Trust Accreditation
What it isPrice
Digital Trust AccreditationTwelve months. The badge served from our origin, the verification page, and the entry on the public register£295 a year
Digital Trust MonitoringThe assessment re-run every quarter, movement reported, and the accreditation kept current£395 a quarter

The audit is what you pay to be assessed. The accreditation is what you pay to display the result and stay on the register. They are separate because the assessment stands whether or not you choose to display it — a business is free to be audited and hold no badge.

What we are never paid for

We take no commission from any firm that carries out remediation, whether or not we introduced them. Partner agencies pay a flat fee to submit assessments, never a fee linked to whether a client goes on to buy anything, because a body paid more when there is more wrong has an interest in finding more.

We take no payment from registered office providers, formation agents or any company named in the registered office register, in any form — no affiliate link, no sponsored listing, no recommended tier. That is stated in the register’s methodology so that it is a published standard rather than a private policy.

VAT and invoicing

All prices exclude VAT. UK businesses are charged VAT at the prevailing rate; VAT-registered customers reclaim it in the ordinary way. Services supplied to a business customer outside the United Kingdom are outside the scope of UK VAT, and the customer accounts for it under the reverse charge. Invoices state which applies.

The criteria behind every one of these figures are in the published standard.
